What Is "Anxiety"?

Anxiety is manifested by stress or fear. It is a natural response to stress or danger – one that helps you cope with tense situations and manage many challenges in your day-to-day life. Hence, feeling worried before a medical procedure or an exam, a big interview, or any other challenging event is totally acceptable. But, anxiety can develop into an anxiety disorder, a medical disease that must be addressed if it occurs frequently and negatively impacts your well-being.
